Problem with new PSP 3000 Screen?

I was reading that there are lines that ghost across the screen of the new PSP 3000. Sony has no plans for software fix- since it is a hardware issue. So that being said- anybody in here get the new one? Looks like I wont be until they fix it. So I will probably be getting the slim 2000 version.

I think I'm just gonna save my money and get a few more games... My current PSP is still in good shape.

my friend bought the 3000,its ugly the screen thing lol,its kinda like a shadow or some thing O.O get the 200 best thing ever lol ...IMO

I have gotten 5 of the 3000's...I've played Burnout Dominator, Killzone Liberation, Patapoon 2 Demo, Rachet and Clank: Size Matters and Ecochrome on all of these.

I have YET to find any issues with the screens. They all work just fine. I've had these units now for 1.5 months. (BTW, I'm waiting on a sixth one to arrive....These are for my grandkids, but I'm not giving them out until I have all of them.)

really? That's good news. I think that I will wait now though for the Go- So many choices though- I really like being able to slap in a UMD..... Thanks for the positive feedback for the 3000! It's cool your getting them for the grandkids

Yeah, they're going to be happy. The sixth one is for me.

BTW, I'm getting all of these systems used...not new. But all with VERY little to no scratches. I still have yet to find any bad issues with anything....(asside from the lack of a second joystick). Someone must have misplaced all of them.

lol- You could try dealextreme.com and see if they have them- they usually have everything for the PSP- even new lcd screens

I have the psp 3000 and there are no scanlines, ghosting, or deadpixels to speak of. I looked at my friend's psp 2000 though, and I liked it. It seems to be more... fluid. I dont know but it just seems that motion seems to flow better than on the 3000, its hard to explain.
