PSP VERSION

Um , I've been wondering lots of people were chatting alright.
And When I just bought my PSP yesterday , They told me this version was the latest
Version 3.95

I was wondering, How can you tell its PSP 1 , 2 , 3

do u mean psp -1001 -2002 -3003 model??

Hmm... I don't understand the question either. Maybe he's wondering if the 3 in 3.95 = what version your PSP is.

Did you buy a Slim or an older PSP? as far as that number- that's firmware- and it is not the latest- the latest firmware is 4.05.

Sorry guys, I'm really a newbie in the psp. I don't know how to add music , video , other stuff.

ok if you mean the system hardware then look on the bottom of your PSP 1001= Fat PSP
2001= PSP Slim, if you mean update then 3.95 is not the latest and you should upgrade to 4.05 to do it you must have wi-fi and a memory stick

now im down to cfw 4.01 m33 i didnt like ofw anymore.
pluss hopefully when sony does another update (though that will probably be a while from now) i expect CFW programmers to add any updates into the new CFW (probably including the new media visualisers that came with 4.05.

Cool one , When I can earn lots of money for awhile i'll make a net in order to get updated.

2000 are the slim and light

you can also look at your psp's barcode under the psp logo on the face.
(on the grey runner there should be a bar code with alot of letters and numbers at first.
then you will see PSPXXXX) those four numbers in the spot of the "X'" will tell you which model your psp is.

eg: -PSP2001
is a model 2000

it only adds 1 visualizer (which sux)
i will wait for sumthing cool on the psp to come out

I just bought a psp which is Version 3.95 and i wanna know can it be modify? I heard from people some say you can't modify coz it's the lastest version. Please reply A.S.A.P thanks

it can be modified, but only if you have a Pandora's Battery

i have psp3000 and i dont know how to watch youtube, it says i need to download flashplayer but it says it wont support it!! do you know what i should do? im hoping you can help me!! thank you very much happytimes08(new to psp))

just updated my version to 5.04

PSP 1001 (Original) - It is fatter - open UMD slot by sliding a trigger.
PSP 2002 (Slim 'n lite) - Obviously Slimmer. Open UMD slot be pulling.

I don't know the features of psp 3000.

CFW IS THE SHIZZlE

I bought a psp2001
and firmware is 3.90 and was wondering how would i know if it is modded or not. i am knew to this whole psp thing.

Sounds like it's not modded- but could be very easily.

i've had the slim for a while but haven't really used it much except for a few games. lol

but have now only because of the ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler R2 which is good enough for me.
the psp has some good emulators and homebrew.

i'm more into the ds scene though, because everything is so mush easier to me homebrew wise.
